Liposuction is the removal of the subcutaneous adipose tissue from the body with the help of thin cannulas (2, 3, 4 mm). ). In this way, the deformities depending on the excess fat in the body can be treated.
In this procedure, which is performed in the large numbers all over the world, the adipose tissue in the targeted area is primarily liquefied by the different methods. In this way, the fat can be easily absorbed.
The blunt metal thin tubes used during the procedure are called cannulas. The cannulas are passed into the subcutaneous region through the thin incisions not exceeding 0.5 cm in the skin. In this way, when the healing is complete after the procedure, there are no obvious scars.
The different technologies are used to liquefy the adipose tissue. In the classical liposuction, the adipose tissue is mechanically divided into tiny pieces and liquefied through cannulas, and then sucked out of the body. In the laser liposuction, the fat is broken down and then absorbed by a cannula that emits a laser beam. In the modern approaches (VASER Liposuction) where the ultrasonic sound waves are used, the fat tissue is broken down by the ultrasonic sound waves.
The liposuction is a suitable treatment approach for the people who have excess fat in the unwanted areas despite the proper nutrition, sports and lifestyle.

Vaser® (vibration amplification of the sound energy in the resonance) technology is today one of the most modern liposuction methods that enables the breakdown of the fat cells with the ultrasonic sound vibrations.
The adipose tissue in the areas to be made liposuction is melted with very thin metal cannulas that produce the ultrasonic sound waves through the small cuts (1 cm) in the skin. At that time, the melted fat is taken out of the body again through a thin cannula. Compared to the classical liposuction methods, the fat removal becomes easier as the adipose tissue is melted with the ultrasonic sound waves. This also leads to a shorter procedure time.
Targeting only the fat cells during the liposuction with VASER technology ensures the protection of the blood vessels, lymph vessels, nerves and other tissues supporting the skin. Therefore, it is quite safe compared to the standard body contouring methods.
The absence of vascular damage not only reduces the amount of pain, bruising and edema after the procedure, but also significantly accelerates the healing process.
By selectively targeting only the adipose tissue, it provides more convenience and advantage in the areas such as the back where the connective tissue is dense and the breast area in men (in the treatment of the gynecomastia).
Due to the protection of the vascular and nerve structures, it also provides the opportunity to interfere with the superficial fat cells under the skin without disturbing the skin circulation. This allows the skin to become tighter during recovery.
